Modern day human trafficking statistics are staggering. The World Health Organization believes this 150 billion dollar industry enslaves 45 million people worldwide. Despite the magnitude of this pandemic, Jerry Redman and his team at Second Life believe that, together, we can eradicate this assault on human dignity. In conversation with William, Jerry calls for leaders to engage this issue, speaks to how his faith connects to this fight, and shares stories of hope in which ordinary people mobilize to rescue victims of human trafficking.

Together, they discuss the Biblical and Theological Foundations for Benevolence, a core course at Lee University. This course is a part of the first year cohort for students and provides a solid foundation for students as they continue their service-learning experiences.
